Who Are Biobax

In October 2019, Dominic Barnes and Kate Pawson started BioBax to acquire Zybax, the UK’s market-leading biological and biotechnological cleaning solutions brand and Meleco, the original melamine foam eraser brand.

Kate Pawson

Kate has a wealth of experience within chemical manufacture, hygiene and consumables distribution together with a background in operational industry training.

Her experience has helped nurture the growth of the private label business and the development of innovative new brands within BioBax.

Kate has an extensive knowledge-base and demonstrates a commitment to deliver a gold standard cleaning through the use of effective and targeted products, systems and know-how, in an industry she loves.

Dominic Barnes

Dominic has nearly 30 years’ experience in the commercial, hygiene and industrial consumables market. His extensive knowledge of manufacturing and sales and marketing has enabled him to grow market-leading brands and achieve a highly respected position within the industry.

He has overseen the inception, development, growth and success of the current BioBax brands, Zybax and Meleco.

Continual Development Through Innovation

With a strong reputation for developing innovative, effective and environment-friendly alternatives, BioBax, carries out research, development and manufacturing in-house or using local suppliers where possible.

BioBax and our brand Zybax will be including the new ingredient AqFreshTM as part of our formulations from as soon as November. The licence gives us a great opportunity to continue to innovate with the best in the market and opens up exciting opportunities for future products. Watch this space for our new products containing AqFreshTM.
